According to the mythology the demon threatened the people and valley to create catastrophe. The region was about to be doomed. Then the son of Demon Dorje Jono appeared for the rescue of the people. Mustang Tiji Festival Trek showcases the unique celebration technique of the Upper Mustang people. The great duel took place ultimately the demon was chased away restoring the peace in the Valley. This three days of festivals is celebrated in joyous manner as the monks from monasteries chants the prayers and colorfully dressed monks dance in the rhythm.
