The trekking trail passes through the forests and the ethnic Tamang people along with occasional settlement of Brahmin, Chhetri and other tribes of Nepal. Day 01: Arrived to Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, Nepal Intrepid Treks will be your trustworthy travel companion until you depart for your home country. We will accommodate our valued customers in three star hotels in Kathmandu. We take care of the room and breakfast of our valued customers during their stay in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

In Kathmandu Valley our customers to the landmark sight of Kathmandu. Our experienced guide will take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square which holds the political and historical values in Nepalese civilization. Apart from Kathmandu Durbar Square, we take our customers to Swayambhu Nath Temple (Monkey Temple) which is the symbol of Harmony between Buddhists and Hindus from the very place we can get the splendid view of Kathmandu Valley and its outskirts. Furthermore, we take you to Pashupatinath Temple which is the holy place for hindu devotees and the holy cremation area which might interest you.

Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal(1.5 hours) and trek to Chisapani (2,300m/7,544 ft) – 5 hours

The private vehicle or bus will take you to the Sundarijal. This place is the major sourche of Drinking Water Supply to the Kathmandu Valley as well. From Sundarijal we will travel to the Chisapani passing by the villages of Tamang, Lama and Brahmin community of people. The terraced farmlands and the nature jungle walk will definitely make your first day’s trekking worthwhile.

Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang (2446m/8022ft) – 7 hours

Listen to the chirping sound of the birds and the swishing of the river and water resources like water falls all day during the trekking. The wide varieties of the flora, fauna and vegetations including various animals will definitely make you feel the in the wild experience.

Day 05: Trek to Thadepati (3650m/11972ft) – 6 hours

The journey from Kutumsang towards the Thadepati would add the gloss to your trekking in this trail. The forests, water and the unique amalgamation of the culture. The pagodas, gompas and stupas that you see on the way will be the best aesthetic value of your trekking. Nepal trekking really gives you the diversified experience.

Day 06: Trek to Melamchi Gaun(2,550m/8,366ft) – 3 hours

Observe the Melamchi ambitious drinking water project and beautiful Melamchi Village. The main inhabitants of the village are Tamang and Lama people who follow the Buddhism and Hinduism. You can observe the immense harmony between two sets of people following different religion.

Day 07: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2560m/8397ft) – 4 hours

The trail is very easy as the postal road has been constructed. You might feel different as some junction of the trail is motor able. The project vehicle might pass by. During this time the trail might be dusty but the scenery is worth to capture in your camera and mind.

Day 08: Trek to Sermathang (2,610m/8,563ft) – 3/4 hours

From Tarkeyghyang after visiting the local monastery and gompa the journey heads to Sermathang. In this place you can enjoy the authentic Tamang cultural program. The trekking crew members and locals can enjoy the local food as well as locally brewed distilled beverage. You will feel the authentic Langtang region in this place as well.

Day 09: Trek to Malemchi Pul – 4/5 hours

The last day of trekking is towards Melamchi Pul bazaar. This is semi urban town with lots of concrete building. You can roam around the town and buy some yak products as well as local apparels. There will be plenty of time for you to explore around the town or you can side hike to river bank for some swimming exercises.

Day 10: Drive Melamchi Pul to Kathmandu – 4/5 hrs

The bus drive can be done from two different roads. You can take the Bhotekoshi route from Dhulikhel or the Nagarkot route via Jaharsimpauwa. The guide of the Nepal Intrepid Treks will make the decision or you can suggest. Once you have reached Kathmandu you will be transferred to your hotel in Thamel.

Day 11: Farewell Day
